How do we manage neural disorders ?Clinical Neurodynamics is an approach
that integrates the principles of neurodynamics into physical therapy and
rehabilitation to assess and treat disorders of the nervous system. It focuses on the
mechanical and physiological behavior of nerves as they move through surrounding
tissues. Clinicians use specific techniques, such as palpation of the nerve and
neurodynamic standard tests in order to evaluate and treat nerve-related pain,
like PNS, peripheral nerve sensibility and CN, compressive neuropathy.
This method is particularly effective for conditions like sciatica, carpal tunnel
syndrome, and other type of nerve entrapments, aiming to restore normal neural
mobility, treating the interface if necessary and reduce symptoms while improving
functional outcomes. Mobilisation techniques, like sliders and tensioners as used as
well as exercises.
